Luke got away with this, but several craft ploughed in spectacularly, at this point, during the weekend. Luke Sedzikowski Gang Warily 2002

Me getting thoroughly airborne in the thrust air of 4 craft in front Carnforth 2002

Number 40 had ploughed in and half spun into the path of the French craft which rode over the top and then nose dived into the water. Nasty crash, luckily nobody hurt.

Ok, so these are pics of me. But what the hell ... its my web page!! (Photos courtesy of David Beech) My left hand operates the throttle on the handlebars, my right controls the splitter plate lever on the cockpit side.
gw9816.jpg (14487 bytes) The 1998 Gang Warily race meeting was very close with Luke Sedzikowski and I battling it out in everyone of the six races. Lukes craft shows the scars from hitting the catch fencing whilst avoiding a back marker. I have just got inside round the Fawley Bank hairpin but Lukes coming back into the chicane. I eventually  got ahead when I kept my inside line into the last corner before the straight which left him boxed in behind a back marker and gave me a clear run to the chequered flag. Exciting stuff!!

This is an F2 getting out of control (the one standing on its tail !!) It had been wrestled with for most of the water straight and eventually crashed when it reached the transition and the bank tripped the craft up. The race was red flagged (stopped) as the driver was thown out of the craft onto the racing line.

The water levels at most trasitions during 1997 so far have been very low which has meant some hairy jumps which required excellent balance to ensure the craft flew level for a smooth landing

For once I beat Stephen Scotney to the first corner, for which he simply "nerfed" me BIG TIME. Having been spun round I then collected air from Christan Keller (out of picture to the left) who was in front which got me thoroughly airborne and off the racing line.
